Japan Barista Championship (JBC) is a prestigious competition organized by the Japan Specialty Coffee Association to determine the best barista in the country.

The competition involves creating original drinks called "espresso," "milk beverage," and "signature beverage" within a set time limit, and competitors are judged not only on taste but also on the appropriateness, accuracy, and consistency of all steps involved in the process up to and including the serving of the drink.

Of the 71 participants, baristas Abe, Ito, and Hisanaga participated from Sarutahiko Coffee, amazingly!!

Barista Ito won first place, and Barista Abe came in second.And it was a very brilliant achievement.

This is the first time a Sarutahiko Coffee barista has won the competition! The winning barista, Ito, will compete in the world championship to be held in Milan, Italy in October 2025🔥
