Chef Ryuichi Fukui of Le Bambouche, Ise, has baked the traditional French pastry canelé in an octagonal shape inspired by Sarutahiko Shrine. It is made with rice from the sacred rice fields planted during the Onda Matsuri, a festival held at Sarutahiko Shrine in Ise. This product, with its elegant packaging and auspicious qualities, is also a perfect gift for someone of higher rank.
