PRODUCT INFO

Description

We introduce coffee processed at the Malua Station in Nyeri, Kenya.
This lot beautifully showcases the appeal of coffee from the Mount Kenya region, known since the early days of specialty coffee for its excellent compatibility between terroir (soil and climate) and coffee variety.
A flavor reminiscent of blackberry (cassis), unique to the combination of Nyeri's land and the SL variety.
Its appeal lies in its refreshing taste reminiscent of juicy blood oranges, and as the temperature cools, a sweetness reminiscent of brown sugar emerges amidst the fruity impression.
This is recommended for those looking for a full-bodied, fruity coffee, and it can also be enjoyed as iced coffee.
Please try.

About the farm

In Kenya, there are many small-scale producers who do not have their own processing facilities. They bring their harvested cherries to a CWS (coffee washing station: a processing plant) to have them purchased, and the lots are generally distributed under the CWS name.
The lot we are introducing today was processed at Marua CWS in Nyeri.
Nyeri is a region that produces particularly high-quality coffee among the coffee-producing areas around Mount Kenya, and is well-known for its blackberry flavor, juicy body, and robust taste.
