PRODUCT INFO

Description

The bite-sized "Michihiraki Canelé" is a traditional French pastry baked into an octagonal shape by Chef Ryuichi Fukui of Le Bambooche in Ise, inspired by Sarutahiko Shrine. It is made using rice from the sacred fields planted during the "Ota-sai" festival held at Sarutahiko Shrine in Ise.

With its elegant packaging and auspicious symbolism, this product is perfect as a gift for superiors.
You can enjoy them even more by warming them in a toaster oven.

- About the Collaboration

"Le Bambooche" is a French restaurant situated along the Miyagawa River, a clear stream near Ise Jingu. We use fresh local ingredients to offer our guests Chef Fukui's creative cuisine. We highly recommend our wedding menu, which captures the sacred atmosphere of Sarutahiko Shrine, as well as Chef Fukui's signature original canelés. Named the "Michihiraki Canelé," this pastry features a crispy exterior and a chewy interior. It is an ideal gift for wedding favors or as an auspicious treat to bring good luck.
