Coffee from the bombe washing station managed by Nigusegmeda, a producer in Bensa, Sidama Region, Ethiopia, which has won first place at the Ethiopian Cup of Excellence, has been decaffeinated by Swiss Water.

Beautiful and comfortable smoothness,It remains strong even after undergoing decaffeinated processing that achieves 99% caffeine removal.

- About the process

Decaffeinated coffee by water process
The raw beans are soaked in water to elute the ingredients in the raw beans, including caffeine, and then removed.
The liquid from which the ingredients of the green beans have been eluted is filtered to remove the caffeine, then the green beans are returned to the liquid, and the ingredients other than caffeine are returned to the green beans.
This is how to make decaffeinated coffee using the water process.

Decaffeinated coffee made using the water process is said to be highly safe because the green beans do not come into direct contact with any chemicals other than water.
The caffeine removal rate is over 99%.
