Description

- Tasting Profile

This is a washed-processed lot of Geisha coffee grown in the "Aguacate" plot of the Elida Farm, the coffee plantation that produces coffee at the highest altitude in Panama.
The appeal of the washed process is that it brings out the natural flavors of jasmine, lemon, and black tea that are unique to the Geisha variety, but Elida Farm's Geisha is characterized by its sweetness and the taste of peach and muscat.
The cool terroir of the high-altitude cloud forest allows the coffee berries to ripen over a long period of time, so as they cool they become pleasantly sweeter, and the smooth texture makes them taste like flower syrup.

About the farm

Elida Farm produces coffee at the highest altitude among the fields at the foot of Baru Volcano in western Panama.
The farm's recent win at the Best of Panama competition is still fresh in our minds, and it has attracted attention from around the world, even holding a private auction.
Each cultivation area has its own name, and the Aguacate plot is the second highest in altitude after the Vuelta plot.
